Kemensah birding

Kemensah birding on 14Dec2010.

Highlight of the trip must be the wagtail. As we stopped by the stream where a couple used to wash their car to have our lunch, a wagtail suddenly presented itself on the rocks. The bird is not so shy, rock hopping up and down the stream for a few minutes before going off. Must be accustomed to the weekend picnickers.

Chestnut-breasted Malkoha
Phaenicophaeus curvirostris

Grey Wagtail
Motacilla cinerea

  2. Where got Kemensah sifu one, still continuously learning day by day. Still haven't managed a pic of the Grey wagtail this new season although I've seen several birds in Kemensah.

  3. The wagtail is very active bird, shots not so clear. Those that are clear had rubbish in the background. ;(

Went there on a weekday so didn't meet the sifu. Maybe next time the sifu can show the way.
