Malacca Church Wedding ...

Another opportunity at shooting a wedding
this round .... the bride's side.

Hours are longer ... but worth it when you hit the right angles.

The rings presented at the altar... glorious natural light in the church interior.
Quick draw of the barrel... captured the moment, frozen for eternity.

A must have in any wedding shoot, profile shot of the bride ...
natural light, like the dreamy look and feel.

Babblers of Repah ...

Babblers frolicking in the durian orchard.

Landed just perfectly on the stump for the classic pose before flying off.

Pictures #2 and #3 saved from severe backlighting thanks to shooting in RAW.

Denizens of the forest ...

First taste of jungle birding at Gunung Tampin ...
Spent 2 hours sitting on a rock waiting for appearance of the
feathered friends but none were to show up for the photo shoot.

However observations were encouraging.
Drongo's are plentiful based on the noise they make ...
Whooshing sound from horn bills flying over head ...
No pictures to show here.

The forest floor holds a myriad of creatures ...
unbelievable but yes i saw a small crab nearby a creek
up in Gunung Tampin with no mangrove or sea nearby!

An identified gecko on tree trunk peering up the tree top.

Kg Paya Babblers ...

Another lifer.

Babblers in the bush, stopped the car after sighting
of a broadbill. Maybe my illusion against the strong
backlight the bird was never seen again. Then I heard
their calls ..... could be described as 2 halves of a note.
Another bird was across the road ...
