Segamat town birding

The birder in town on 10 Apr 2011

Grey Heron
Ardea cinerea

I spied on this bird as it flew into a low tree. Too bad the leave is blocking an otherwise full frame view of the bird. As i tried to re-position for a better shot it flew to the opposite bank.

Stork-billed Kingfisher
Pelargopsis capensis

My first shot of the bird back in 2009 Singapore zoo, shooting side by side with a bunch of white-gloved photographers.

Then somewhere outskirt ...

White-rumped Munia
Lonchura striata

  3. These are lovely pictures you have taken. Are these snaps from Segamat? I live there too and I try to take time to watch these feathered friends.
