Belum Birding

You have not yet bird in Belum if you didn't catch a glimpse of the famous hornbill.

I was eagerly waiting for the sun to rise the next day only to be doused with early morning rain.

Air Banum Tree Swift

Lifer, along the RPS Air Banum. Sky was getting dark, with the clouds moving in. After finishing the photo shoot, it rained cats and dogs.

I realise the next day, the other half was nesting on another tree beside. This bird distracted me from finding its mate. Sitting silently the camouflage work very well for them.

I spied on this bird as it flew into a low tree. Too bad the leave is blocking an otherwise full frame view of the bird. As i tried to re-position for a better shot it flew to the opposite bank.
